Banstead is a residential village and suburb in the Reigate and Banstead borough, about ten to eleven miles north of our Horley base on the North Downs chalk plateau. It is surrounded by Metropolitan Green Belt, with a mix of inter-war and post-war housing, older village properties and extensive open downland nearby. Our BPCA-certified technicians cover Banstead and the surrounding area regularly.
Banstead's North Downs location and green-belt setting mean wildlife pest calls are a consistent part of our workload here. Rats and mice are the most frequent domestic calls. Older housing stock and larger detached properties around Banstead village have more structural entry points than newer builds, and the proximity of open downland and farmland means rodent pressure from outside the built area is ongoing.
Moles are a regular issue on Banstead's downland and in the larger residential gardens on the plateau. Grey squirrels are common in the tree-lined roads through the village and in gardens backing onto the green belt. Wasps nest in loft spaces and wall cavities across Banstead's residential streets every summer. Fleas and bed bugs appear in rental and multi-occupancy properties in the areas bordering Sutton and Epsom.
We provide rodent control, wasp and hornet nest removal, mole control, grey squirrel management and proofing work for clients in Banstead. For commercial and rental properties we deal with bed bugs, fleas and stored-product pests, and we provide written records for landlords and property managers where required.
We cover Banstead village and the surrounding areas: Woodmansterne, Chipstead, Kingswood, Tadworth and the Warren area to the south, and Belmont to the north. The SM7, KT20 and RH3 postcodes are all within our regular working area.
